Treasure Island (TI) Hotel & Casino, a Radisson Hotel, consistently earns high marks from guests seeking a well-located and value-driven stay on the Las Vegas Strip. While it doesn't claim to be a luxury resort, it excels in providing a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable experience for many, making it a popular choice for both first-time visitors and repeat guests.
One of TI's strongest suits is its exceptional location directly on the Las Vegas Strip. Guests frequently praise its convenience, noting it's "close to everything" and offers a "very convenient walk" to nearby attractions like the Sphere. A significant advantage that sets TI apart from many other Strip hotels is its policy of free parking, a major plus for travelers driving into Vegas.
The rooms at Treasure Island are generally described as comfortable, neat, and clean. Several guests have highlighted features such as a safe and a fridge, adding to the convenience. One reviewer particularly appreciated having two bathrooms – one with a shower and another with a jetted tub – in their room. Many rooms offer an "incredible view of the Strip," enhancing the overall experience. While some comments mention that rooms can feel "outdated" or note a "strange odor on the hallway," these points are often balanced by positive feedback on cleanliness and customer service, or the added value provided by the hotel.
As a primary casino hotel, TI offers a lively gaming floor. Guests have enjoyed various "fun gaming machines like Big Wheel and Blackjack." A notable perk that adds to the casino atmosphere is the availability of free beer while playing, a detail that many visitors appreciate. The casino also allows smoking, which is a consideration for some guests.
Beyond the casino, TI features a "nice pool" with a DJ, several restaurants, and a "great sports bar." While past attractions like the live pirate show and Señor Frog's (including its drag brunch) are missed by long-time patrons, the current offerings still provide ample entertainment and dining options.
The hotel often receives praise for its customer service. One guest specifically highlighted Ethel at the front desk for being "warm and friendly, and patient with all my questions," making their check-in experience wonderful. While there can be occasional service delays, such as a wait for a bellboy to deliver a room key, the hotel is noted for addressing issues promptly. For instance, a guest who experienced a delay was credited with $25 for the inconvenience, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Treasure Island is consistently recommended for its "value" and for being the "best bang for your buck" on the Strip. It's acknowledged as a non-luxury option that delivers on its promises of a great location, cleanliness, and enjoyable amenities at an affordable price point. Whether visiting for a general Vegas trip or a specific event like New Year's (where guests enjoyed a beautifully lit street and an "absolutely amazing fireworks show"), TI provides a memorable experience.
In conclusion, Treasure Island Las Vegas offers a fantastic combination of location, value, and essential amenities for a memorable Vegas trip. It's highly recommended for those seeking a practical, enjoyable, and well-situated hotel experience without the premium price tag of a luxury resort.
Great place to stay, especially if you are visiting the Sphere! Very convenient walk. The pool is nice and has a DJ, there are several restaurants, and a casino. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, we liked having 2 bathrooms- one with a shower and the other a jetted tub. Smoking is allowed in the casino. Good location on the strip.
I stayed at Treasure Island last weekend and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the Strip. The location is perfect — close to everything and easy to get around. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The casino was fun and well-kept. I’d definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful experience staying at Treasure Island in Las Vegas! The hotel is located right on the Strip, making it very convenient and close to everything. There’s a great sports bar, several good restaurants, and fun gaming machines like Big Wheel and Blackjack, which we really enjoyed. One of the highlights was the free beer while playing, which added to the fun atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable, neat, and clean, making our stay even more pleasant. We visited during New Year’s, and the entire street was beautifully lit up with lights. The fireworks show was absolutely amazing and made our trip even more memorable. Treasure Island has definitely become one of our favorite places to stay in Vegas, and we would highly recommend it!
One of the few hotels on the Strip that doesn’t charge for parking, which is a big plus. The room itself felt quite outdated, though. I also noticed a strange odor on the hallway. While the condition of the room could definitely be improved, the customer service was great and made up for it. If you're looking for an affordable option in a great location, this could be a solid choice.
Perfectly fine place to stay on the strip. Nothing too fancy. It's definitely an older property but the room was nice and comfy. Shower was great especially for a hotel shower. Plenty of places to get food. The couple places we tried were nothing special but it was fine. I should have checked out Gilley's. I do love a good line dance. The free parking is great. It's the only place on the entire strip with free parking that you don't have to earn with a loyalty card. I hope they don't take this away. I'd definitely stay here again. It's not as fancy as other hotels but it's great for the price especially if you're going to something at the sphere
