Many visitors commend its inviting atmosphere, diverse dining options, and overall comfort, making it a worthwhile stop whether you're passing through or looking for a local entertainment hub.
The casino boasts a spacious gaming experience, providing a variety of games for patrons. One reviewer specifically mentioned Keno, available at different denominations ranging from a minimum of 5 cents up to $8 depending on the playing area. While some have noted that the "payoff isn't so well" on the gaming side, the comfortable and inviting environment often compensates, encouraging visitors to relax and enjoy their time.
A significant highlight of Spotlight 29 Casino is its culinary offerings, which receive high praise across multiple reviews. The casino is home to several dining spots:
Spotlight 29 Casino is widely regarded as a "good inviting comfortable place" with a positive atmosphere. The staff, particularly bartenders like Raul, are highlighted for being "super friendly," "kind," and helpful in sharing information about deals and offerings. While most floor staff are described as "very friendly," one review mentioned occasional less-than-ideal experiences with beverage servers. The bar environment generally feels welcoming and "not hostile."
In terms of practical amenities, the casino offers easy parking with plenty of spaces right out front and is conveniently located off the 10 freeway, ensuring "easy access." Restrooms are generally considered clean, though one reviewer suggested they could benefit from more frequent checks to maintain cleanliness standards. An occasional smoke smell has been noted by one visitor, but this appears to be an infrequent occurrence rather than a constant issue.

I got 29 REASONS YOU SHOULD VISIT! #1-29: This is FIREBIRDS Territory LOL. Jk, despite the constant advertising you've probably seen, it's hard to miss Coachella's Spotlight 29 Casino. It's a local favorite and it's easy to understand why. It's a very spacious location and there's great food and entertainment! I've been here for Firebirds watch parties at the large entertainment hall and had a great time! Spotlight's Taproom 29 is also home to watch parties if you're interested in any sports, craft beer and yummy food! There's also an Asian-inspired restaurant and a bar/sandwich shop. There's a good mix of patrons that come, lots of families visit for the food! Spotlight is right off the 10 freeway and easy to get to, there's plenty of parking out front. My only concern this time is that there was a smoke smell. It happens once in a while but I really don't care for it when I walk in and surprised with it. Most of the time I don't get a smoky scent, but be careful. Oh and the restrooms need to be a little cleaner, itβs not a major problem but they need to be checked on more.
Spacious gaming experience. There are several types of games, I prefer Keno. They have a section for Keno or you can play at the bars. The denominations range from a minimum of 5 cents - 40 cents, a quarter - 8 quarters, and $1 - $8 depending on where you play. Most people working on the floor are very friendly, I've only had bad experiences with beverage servers. Apart from gaming there are diverse options for eating. You can grab a sandwich to go or sit down and have lobster tails. The food at Taproom 28 is AMAZING! I had 2 lobster tails, veggies, and mashed potatoes. My daughter had the Shrimp Scampi Alfredo. Currently on Tuesdays lobster tail dinners are $24.95 but I'd order them again if it weren't on a Tuesday. Our server was extremely kind and the bar environment was not hostile. You can watch the various screens as you enjoy your meal or you can simply sit, enjoy your meal, and chat with your friends at the table. Come check it out!
