- Beverage Pricing: The price of bottled water at $2 was considered excessive by one patron, though they acknowledged it might be standard for public card rooms.
- Tournament Procedures: While offering mixed game tournaments is a positive, there was a comment about incorrect procedures at the start of one tournament series, indicating a potential need for minor procedural refinement.
Overall Impression â¨
TGT Poker and Racebook generally garners positive feedback, particularly for its inviting atmosphere, accessible tournament options, and highly regarded staff. It appears to cater well to poker enthusiasts looking for a less overwhelming experience than a large-scale casino, offering a good balance of comfort and gaming. Potential visitors should be aware of the perceived demographic imbalance and the primary focus on NLHE in the poker room, especially during off-peak hours. For those who enjoy a friendly, clean, and well-staffed poker environment with reasonable tournament buy-ins and good food, TGT Poker and Racebook comes highly recommended.
I am very happy with today's event. I played a poker tournament and had a great time. My week has been very rough and this was a pleasure and destressful situation. I was greeted by George or Jorge how ever you pronounce this gentleman's name. They graced me with a hat and were as kind to me and everyone else. Thank you for today and I hope to form a bond with TGT in the future.
This poker room gives a nice home style feel without the big casino name. Their tournaments are as well with low to mid range buy-ins that make it attractive. They have plenty of games to choose from including table games. Great food and drinks to choose from. Highly recommend.
Incredibly quiet and not very female ready. It was a sausage fest and not in a good way. At least now I can say I've been inside this spot. Since I don't gamble I can't see myself volunteering to go here
The poker room was very nice and the chairs are adjustable, which is awesome for a short person. I was glad to see them include a couple of mixed game tourneys in their series, but their procedure at the start of the tournament was incorrect. $2 for bottled water seems excessive, but I haven't played in a public card room for a while, so maybe that's standard. Wish they spread more variety of games, maybe they do at night. I'm not an NLHE fan that's all they had. It's very clean, the dealers were all competent and the staff was very nice
This lady Amanda is a dealer she's amazing I wish I could give her 10 stars, will definitely be going back to play,I hope she's working that day because she's an amazing person and dealer, has the best personality and so professional.
