Fitz Casino & Hotel Tunica, part of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, offers a classic casino experience in Tunica Resorts. However, recent guest feedback paints a picture of stark contrasts, highlighting both potential upsides and significant areas for improvement, particularly concerning its gaming operations, dining quality, and customer service.
The casino floor itself presents a varied landscape for gamblers. Some visitors have praised the blackjack rules as among the best in Tunica, suggesting a potentially favorable environment for table game enthusiasts. Furthermore, new members have been welcomed with incentives such as $25 in free play and buffet vouchers, enhancing the initial appeal for first-time visitors.
However, the gaming experience is marred by deeply concerning reports. One player detailed being "banned from the casino for being up $45 at blackjack," with allegations of "prejudice" and a lack of clear reasons for the expulsion, despite previous losing sessions. This raises serious questions about the casino's policy towards winning players and its overall fairness. For slot players, while machines offer bonuses like "503 free games," one guest reported a disappointing return of only $200 from such a large bonus, leading to a significant net loss despite a substantial investment of over $1500 during their visits.
Fitz Casino & Hotel offers a range of dining options, including a buffet and an upstairs food court featuring choices like Dunkin' Donuts and pizza. The initial offer of a buffet voucher for new members is a positive touch, and some visitors have found overall satisfaction, even winning during their visit. However, the quality of specific offerings has been inconsistent:
The rewards program, while offering potential benefits like free play offers for active card usage, has been criticized by at least one patron as being "so bad." This perception might stem from a disconnect between perceived player value and actual rewards received, or issues like the inability to accrue points efficiently. One guest lamented not using their player's card, realizing they missed out on potential mail offers.
On the customer service front, there's a mix. A positive shout-out was given to a staff member named Drew for providing an "excellent experience" to first-time visitors. Conversely, the individual who was banned from blackjack described interactions with a "prejudice pitboss" and a complete lack of explanation regarding their ban, leading to significant dissatisfaction and claims of unfair treatment.
A disturbing detail mentioned in one review is the presence of "MICE," which indicates a significant cleanliness and pest control issue that can severely detract from the overall guest experience and perception of hygiene within the establishment.
In summary, Fitz Casino & Hotel Tunica presents a challenging experience for visitors. While some aspects like favorable blackjack rules (if you're allowed to play them without incident) and initial new member incentives are appealing, these are overshadowed by serious allegations of unfair play towards winners, inconsistent dining quality, and notable cleanliness concerns. Prospective guests should weigh these points carefully before planning their visit.
If I could rate it any lower I would. I got banned from the casino for being up $45 at blackjack. My 3 other losing sessions they let me stay but the one time I win and I’m banned. Best blackjack rules in tunica but there’s no point when u get kicked out for winning. Sore losers. Not to mention there’s MICE. And their reward program is so bad😂 do not risk donating here cuz even if u win they’ll kick u out. If they unban me I’ll take my review down but since they’re prejudice this review shall stand truth hurts fitz.EDIT: there isn’t more to the story. I beat y’all at ur own game u got mad and banned me. Don’t have a casino if ur just gonna kick people out for winning. Prejudice pitboss too. Still haven’t been given a reason why I’m banned. I guess that’s why nobody plays blackjack there
I go to this casino a lot and I put a reasonable about of money monthly in this casino . My sister visited from California recently and we came together . I walked in to this casino at 10 pm on a that Saturday and stayed until around 6:30 am and didn’t jackpot .. I gave Fitzgerald in that one visit $1500 over the night until the morning . Won nothing . I went to the bonus on a penny machine and won 503 free games and only won $200 in the bonus . I really like Fitzgerald so I ended up coming back the next day and spent another $400 still no luck at this point I’m considering gambling somewhere else because I’m not luck there . My only regret was not using my players card in the machine because if I did would have been getting some good free play offers in the mail .
My husband came Saturday for the crab legs like he does every time Fitzgerald does them. He said they were absolutely disappointing this time. For the money they are charging now this is absolutely unacceptable. I’m glad I didn’t go this time because I would have been super upset. Please do better, Fitzgerald’s. $50 for crab legs only to disappoint my husband is just sad. He comes every time you all do them. He’s actually said he may not come this next time…
I had a fantastic time at this casino, especially because I ended up winning—lucky me! The only letdown was the pizza; it wasn't as great as I had hoped. The food court upstairs offers options like Dunkin' Donuts, pizza, and a variety of other foods. Despite the pizza, we'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.
First time visiting Fitzgerald casino and hotel. Not only did they give new members 25$ in free play but they also gave us a voucher for the buffet. Shouts out to Drew, for the excellent experience. Thanks again I look forward to seeing y'all again in the near future.
