Parking was easy, checking in was smooth. In that sense, it’s like any good hotel. What makes this place exceptional was the amazing women we met here that were staff! Our lady that checked us in was so kind, the two ladies in the coffee shop were just so precious but no one beats the best security guard in the world Ms. Nickey. She has the kindest heart and she really made the trip here at Hollywood all worth the drive! So glad I made new friends in Tunica and when I come back, I’ll be staying here again. Great experience and great memories!
It’s important to be objective when leaving a review. This review was now created out of a bad experience. The staff was kind enough but they made a lot of mistakes that they corrected and they seemed very disorganized. The bed I slept in was leaning in a direction you could tell had been broken. The furniture was well used and not in the best shape. There were 2 hairs in the shower before use. But all our linens were clean and fresh. We felt the place was secure and lively.
I booked a room for two nights but my experience there was horrible. I only stayed one night and was charged for two. Every time I looked at my debit card there were extra charges that were not authorized and should not have been there. I would not recommend this place to anybody and I suggest that you keep a close eye on your credit and debit card charges. This place is dilapidated and rundown . And will beat you out of every penny they can possibly squeeze in on your charges. I will never be back. If you order the food and beverage package nobody knows where it went. They charge your room and your debit card or credit card is charged. You have to catch it!I checked out on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when I called the next morning about my charges oh my debit card the lady said oh yes I just checked you out after I checked out the day before at 1:00 p.m. it's on the security cameras. And my debit card transaction show that I was not there when I was 4 hours away. They still charge me for a whole night. The website says you can check out by 1:00 p.m. and have a small charge added to your debit card. Conning lying and scheming. I asked for a management and she said she was management. Wow. Not good business. I will have my bank challenge these charges.
We stayed in the RV park. First site we parked at the power would only work on 1 leg of 50 amp. Then move to next site over and no water. So then we stayed on this site and used water from first site.Our stay was very nice. The staff was super nice. Fairbanks steak house was awesome. O out of 0 DO NOT RECOMMEND!My biggest question is; Does Penn Gaming not check the quality of their properties?!?This place was the filthiest, nasties most disgusting hotel I’ve ever witnessed!The room reeked of urine, the wall paper was stained and bubbling off the wall.The floors hadn’t been swept or mopped in what looked like ages.The bathroom floor were just as bad.And mold everywhere throughout the bathroom.The front desk agents don’t answer your call, they just pick the phone up and hang it up.The hallway wall are filthy, the carpet is filthy.I’m truly shocked that Penn lets this kind of stuff go on.I mean this place is reminiscent of those pay by the hour roach motels high school kids had parties at in the 80’sIt looks very very bad for their brand.The pool is only open 12 to 8 so if you check in late kiss a swim goodbye!Penn Corporate if you happen to read this have someone go inspect room # 127You’ll be truly shocked what’s representing your brand!
