Oasis Guide and Review

Located in the heart of Brisbane, Oasis Casino positions itself as a prime entertainment destination. While some visitors praise its modern amenities and atmosphere, others report significant concerns regarding service quality and staff conduct, leading to a rather mixed perception of this establishment.
The Ambiance and Offerings ✨
For those seeking a more relaxed and spacious casino experience, specific areas within Oasis come highly recommended. One reviewer highlighted a particular section as being "more spacious" with a "chilled atmosphere," featuring "very modern furnishings and dimmed lighting." This area also conveniently offers access to an outside balcony smoking area, a feature appreciated by patrons.
Beyond the gaming floor, Oasis also provides dining options. Recent updates to the menu have been noted, with one guest finding it "definitely good to drop in for a snack meal," suggesting a decent culinary offering for lighter bites.
Service & Staff: Room for Improvement ⚠️
Despite some positive notes on the physical environment and food, a recurring theme in visitor feedback revolves around customer service, particularly concerning staff training and demeanor.
Dining Service Glitches 🍽️
One guest experienced their table being cleared prematurely while they briefly stepped away to get drinks after placing their food order. This indicates a need for "some training" for new staff to understand patron habits and avoid such misunderstandings.
Concerns Over Entry & Bouncer Conduct 🚪
A significant point of contention for another visitor was an interaction with a bouncer. Despite following a group of elderly individuals who were permitted entry through an exit, the reviewer reported being confronted rudely. The bouncer allegedly insisted they read a "No Entry" sign they hadn't seen and repeatedly questioned their understanding, leading to a perception of "racist" and unfriendly behavior, with implied condescension regarding language proficiency. This incident points to a severe lapse in professional conduct and highlights the importance of consistent application of rules and respectful communication from entry staff.
Casino Floor & Management Issues 🎲
Other direct experiences on the gaming floor also painted a negative picture. One reviewer specifically mentioned "terrible service" and advised caution regarding an "unscrupulous dealer" and a "rude manager," culminating in a firm decision never to return. Such feedback underscores a need for rigorous oversight of gaming staff and managerial professionalism to ensure a fair and pleasant experience for all patrons.
Final Thoughts 🤔
Oasis Casino presents a duality. On one hand, it offers attractive, modern spaces with a pleasant ambiance and acceptable snack dining options. On the other, the establishment faces substantial criticism regarding its customer service, particularly from security personnel, dealers, and managers. Prospective visitors should be aware that while the physical environment might be appealing, there is a risk of encountering service issues that could detract significantly from the overall experience. For Oasis to truly live up to its name, addressing these personnel and service training gaps appears crucial.
Stopped in to grab a meal from the new menu.Definitely good to drop in for a snack meal.New staff so they not used to orders being placed then patrons temporarily leave to grab a drink .(They cleared our table once we went to get drinks)Some training needed here but overall a nice experience
This area is more spacious and the atmosphere is more chilled than the main casino area. Very modern furnishings and dimmed lighting. It has access to outside balcony smoking area.
The bouncer was basically racist 🫤😐. I followed a group of white elderly ladies to enter the casino through the exit, and while he allowed them in, he was rude to me, saying I shouldn’t use the exit. I apologized, but he kept insisting I read the "No Entry" sign, which I hadn’t seen, and repeatedly asked, “Do you know what that means?” I’ve been living in Brisbane for two years — studying and working here — and I’ve never encountered anyone so rude and unfriendly, acting as though "Asian people don’t know English." Next time, just ask people to use the proper entrance. There’s no need to "educate" them; that’s not the bouncer’s job.
Terrible service, cautious of theunscrupulous dealer and rude manager, will never come again
