Located in the vibrant city of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, La Vogue Boutique Hotel & Casino positions itself as a prime destination for those seeking both relaxation and entertainment. This establishment, primarily a casino hotel, offers a blend of appealing features alongside some notable challenges, as highlighted by recent guest experiences.
La Vogue boasts an excellent, sea-connected location, offering stunning views, especially from sea-facing rooms. Guests appreciate its proximity to the beaches of Sihanoukville and the new highway on Serendipity Road, making it convenient for morning or night runs. The general consensus points to a perfect location, albeit one undergoing significant development with new hotels being built in the vicinity.
The hotel's rooms are consistently described as clean, modern, and very comfortable, featuring soft amenities and comfortable beds. Guests frequently praise the fantastic views of the sea available from many rooms. While aesthetically pleasing, some reviews note that the rooms can be a bit noisy, a theme that echoes throughout the hotel's common areas.
La Vogue offers a pleasant culinary experience, with guests reporting delicious food and a great breakfast spread that includes a variety of Asian and Western styles. A notable amenity is the rooftop pool, which provides relaxing views and, at times, a lively atmosphere with a DJ playing music in the evenings. Staff members are generally found to be helpful and friendly.
As a casino hotel, the gaming floor is a prominent feature, located on the ground floor right beside the check-in lobby. This integration, while typical for a casino hotel in Sihanoukville, has some downsides. Guests frequently report a significant issue with smoking within the casino area and even extending into the hotel restaurant. Furthermore, the hotel's location, surrounded by nightlife and a nearby nightclub, means that noise can be a considerable disturbance late at night. The hotel acknowledges this by providing earplugs to guests, indicating the persistent nature of the noise issue.
La Vogue Boutique Hotel & Casino presents a mixed bag for travelers. Its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and decent dining options make it an appealing choice for those who prioritize proximity to the beach and modern amenities. However, the pervasive noise from the surrounding nightlife and ongoing construction, coupled with the casino's smoking policies, are significant drawbacks that prospective guests should be aware of. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to smoke, the hotel's provision of earplugs may be a necessary accessory for your stay. Despite these challenges, many guests still consider it a great place for a holiday, especially if the energetic Sihanoukville vibe is what you're seeking.
You get earplugs from the hotel because of the noise from the nightlife...The location would be perfect, if it was not for the noise, and that there are new hotels being built everywhere around it.
This hotel has an excellent location, pretty much connected to the sea; if you've a room facing the sea, of course, enjoy it. Plenty of fresh air and nice view. Bed is very comfortable. Love the softness of everything. Breakfast also great. Staff members are very helpful and friendly.Downsides: There is a casino on the ground floor. People smoke. They smoke even in the hotel restaurant. There is a night club at the other corner and it's loud late at night. Overall, a great place to stay.
Delicious food! Relaxing views and very clean comfortable room. The ambience is unique compared to other hotels, it's location is also nice. It's very close to the beach and the new big highway in Serendipity Road, accessible for a morning or night run. Price is reasonable to spend for a nice holiday here.
We stayed in this hotel during our time in Sihanoukville. The rooms are clean and modern although a bit noisy. The location of the hotel is really good and close to the beaches of Sihanoukville. The breakfast is good here and offers a variety of different styles of breakfast both Asian and Western. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool a lot during the evenings and had a blast with the DJ playing music while swimming.
Strange check in lobby with the casino just beside it. Guess its sihanoukville style.. Room comes with fantastic view of the sea. A little bit noisy at night with the rows of restaurantsjust below hotel. Room comes with ala carte breakfast .service needs improvement, needs to ask a few times for coffee refill and they only allow 2 refills!!!
